Fullerenes and Nanotubes [ePub]

by Electrochemical Society

The 77 papers, reproduced from typescripts in a variety of formats, include most of those presented at the symposium, which was organized by the Fullerenes, Nanotubes and Carbon Nanostructures, the Society's newest, and surely smallest, division. Among the topics are the complexation of fullerene adducts of pyridine or imidazole by water-soluble zinc porphyrins in the Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett films, photoinduced electron transfer in ferrocene-porphyrin oligomer-fullerene systems, high product yield in a narrow column configuration of carbon nanotubes as a pathway for nanosynthetic machines, supercapacitors using fluorinated single-walled carbon nanotube, and the effects of short-range forces on a three-terminal nano-relay.
