What makes a good Project Initiation Document? [ePub]

by Kevin Martin

This case study discusses what makes a project initiation document (from this point on referred to as a PID) either a useful document or a dangerous document which could ultimately endanger the final outcome of a Software development life cycle. The study will investigate why a PID is required, who should design the document and who should read it.
I will also discuss in detail why a poorly designed PID is a dangerous document and how best to ensure that such documents are identified at an early stage and re-written.
